Villa Jakano

For the Villa Jakano project, we curated a soulful Mediterranean retreat that balances traditional warmth with a refined, contemporary edge. Throughout the home, we featured a harmonious blend of natural textures including herringbone timber flooring, linen drapery, and artisanal rattan accents to create a space that feels deeply connected to the earth.

In the living area, we anchored the room with a plush, olive velvet curved sofa and a rustic circular coffee table, allowing the soft glow of the afternoon sun to filter through sheer curtains and illuminate the custom abstract wall art. Every corner, from the antique inspired console table to the curated pottery, was chosen by our studio to evoke a sense of quiet luxury and enduring peace.

We extended this narrative of barefoot elegance into the kitchen and private suites, focusing on bespoke details and a soft, muted palette. We designed the kitchen with sleek sage cabinetry and brass hardware, paired with a farmhouse sink and a rustic mosaic backsplash that adds a touch of old world craftsmanship to the modern amenities. In the bedrooms, we emphasized comfort through the use of layered textiles and organic shapes, featuring oversized paper pendant lights and hand carved bedside tables that serve as functional sculptures.

By integrating view of the private turquoise pool with these warm, tactile interiors, we ensured that Villa Jakano remains a timeless sanctuary where modern living meets the effortless charm of the Mediterranean coast.
