Villa Pulau

About the project
When we began the design for Villa Pulau, our team was driven by a single vision: to translate the timeless elegance of the Mediterranean into a contemporary tropical context. We wanted to create a home that felt like a quiet breath of fresh air. To achieve this, we embraced a palette of soft sands, creamy whites, and warm woods, using arched architectural elements to frame the natural light that pours through the space. For us, Villa Pulau is an exploration of “soft minimalism,” where every curve and texture is designed to soothe the spirit.
In the heart of the villa, we focused on the beauty of organic materials. We curated the living spaces with hand-woven rattan furniture, oversized linen sofas, and solid timber accents that ground the airy interiors. The bathrooms became a personal favorite of ours to design—featuring standalone sculptural tubs set against sheer drapes and sun-drenched windows, creating a spa-like ritual out of the everyday. We believe that true luxury lies in these quiet, tactile moments where the architecture serves as a backdrop for serenity.
The dining and social areas were envisioned by our team as a celebration of gathering. We paired long, rustic wooden tables with artisanal tableware and glass-block details that filter a soft, ethereal glow. At Villa Pulau, we haven’t just designed a building; we’ve curated an experience of slow, intentional living. It is a place where Mediterranean sophistication meets the warmth of the island, a testament to our commitment at Paz studio to crafting homes that feel both globally inspired and deeply rooted in their environment.
