Apartment Project

About the project

When we took on this Apartment Project, our team at Paz studio wanted to strip away the unnecessary and celebrate the “bones” of the structure. We saw an opportunity to redefine industrial living by creating a space that feels both ruggedly authentic and deeply refined. We leaned into a palette of raw concrete and exposed steel, but we knew that for a home to feel like a sanctuary, it needed a soul. To achieve this, we introduced massive, custom-sliding doors made of rich, salvaged timber that act as functional art, bringing a much-needed organic warmth to the cool, grey interiors.

Throughout the living and dining areas, we focused on “structural storytelling.” We curated every piece of furniture to ground the space, from the heavy, circular wooden dining table that anchors the room to the geometric, blackened-steel shelving units that echo the apartment’s urban architecture. We chose to leave the ceilings high and the layouts open, allowing light to catch the textures of the woven jute rugs and the tactile grain of the wood.

At Paz studio, we believe that industrial design shouldn’t feel cold; it should feel like an honest expression of materials, crafted with precision to create a home that is as bold as it is livable.
