Maison Naia

About the project
For the Maison Naia project, Paz Studio curated a sophisticated dialogue between nostalgia and modernity by blending Retro & Contemporary sensibilities. The living spaces are anchored by an iconic, slouchy velvet Togo sofa in a rich olive tone, which sits in perfect contrast against the crisp white brickwork and clean architectural lines of the villa.
Throughout the home, we integrated bold black accents—seen in the oversized floor mirrors and minimalist dining chairs—to provide a sharp, contemporary edge to the warmth of the natural wood and woven raffia textures. Large-scale tropical plants and artisanal pottery further bridge the gap between indoor luxury and the organic outdoor environment, creating a residence that feels both curated and deeply lived-in.
The private quarters and kitchen areas of Maison Naia continue this theme of textured elegance through a deliberate mix of raw and refined materials. In the bathroom, a stunning circular stone bathtub is framed by delicate floor-to-ceiling drapery and illuminated by soft, recessed lighting within a micro-cement niche.
The kitchen serves as a focal point of contemporary functionality, featuring sleek black marble countertops and industrial-style matte black fixtures that pop against the rustic wooden cutting boards and hand-painted ceramics. Every detail in this project was selected to evoke a sense of timelessness, proving that a space can be both a tribute to mid-century forms and a showcase for high-end modern design.
