Villa Temple

For the Villa Temple project, we embraced a sun drenched Mediterranean narrative that honors the slow, intentional pace of coastal living. We designed the expansive open plan living area under a traditional high vaulted alang alang roof, creating a breathable architectural volume that feels both grand and grounded.

By integrating a seamless transition between the indoor lounge and the lush poolside garden, we allowed natural light to flood the space and highlight our signature white wash walls and custom arched wall niches. Each niche serves as a curated gallery for artisanal ceramics in warm terracotta and ochre tones, adding a layer of tactile history to the contemporary structure.

We focused heavily on the use of raw, noble materials to bring a sense of timelessness to the villa’s interior. In the heart of the home, we featured a bespoke dining table crafted from reclaimed tropical timber, paired with hand woven rattan pendant lights that cast intricate shadow patterns across the space.

Outside, the Mediterranean influence continues with a pristine white stone terrace, a crochet fringed poolside umbrella, and weathered stone vessels that punctuate the manicured lawn. Every detail, from the built in masonry sofas to the strategic placement of desert flora, was chosen by our studio to evoke a sense of profound serenity and barefoot luxury.
