Bedouin I

About the project
Bedouin I is a residential design project by Paz Studio Bali that explores the balance between desert warmth and ethnic Wabi-Sabi sensibility. Rooted in texture, earth tones, and handcrafted imperfection, the space embraces a calm interior design language while layering depth through materiality and light.
The design draws inspiration from arid landscapes and traditional craftsmanship, translated into a contemporary tropical context. Soft plastered walls, brick inlay details, warm timber surfaces, and woven textiles create an atmosphere that feels grounded yet refined. Every element was selected to evoke stillness.
From the sculpted wall niches with integrated lighting to the curved brick arch framing the lounge, Bedouin I celebrates architectural form as both structure and art. The palette remains restrained — sand, clay, charcoal, muted greens.
This project reflects Paz Studio Bali’s approach to residential interior design in Bali: contextual, tactile, and emotionally resonant.
