Villa Berawa Breeze

About the project
We designed Villa Berawa Breeze as a contemporary sanctuary where the vibrant soul of Moroccan craftsmanship meets the clean, airy lines of tropical architecture. We conceptualized the space as a series of fluid, light-filled volumes, using hand-textured plaster and smooth concrete to create a soft, monolithic backdrop. The narrative of the home is defined by its architectural curves—from the sweeping kitchen island to the sculptural spiral staircase—which are grounded by the rich patterns of traditional tribal rugs and woven ikat textiles.
The interior experience is a careful curation of raw materials and artisanal details that invite a slower pace of life. We paired organic timber dining tables and custom-carved bar stools with bold, black-framed windows that frame the lush Balinese landscape like living art. Above, oversized woven rattan pendants drop from double-height ceilings, casting a dappled, golden light that bridges the gap between the structured interior and the wild, sun-drenched pool deck outside.
Every corner of the villa is an intentional study in comfort and cultural fusion, designed to feel both exotic and deeply serene. Whether it is the bedroom where a hand-woven tapestry serves as a headboard or the outdoor lounge set against a backdrop of towering cacti, the design celebrates the beauty of global influence. For Paz Studio, Villa Berawa Breeze is a testament to the harmony of contrast—a place where the desert’s stillness and the ocean’s breath coexist in perfect architectural balance.
