Villa Margarita

About the project
we interpret Villa Margarita as a refined dialogue between the crisp geometries of Contemporary design and the soulful, tactile elements of the Mediterranean. The architecture is defined by an effortless flow of light and space, where polished white surfaces meet the warmth of rich, dark timber flooring to create a home that feels both expansive and deeply intimate. Our design philosophy centers on a “curated eclectic” approach, where a monolithic terrazzo dining table stands alongside velvet-clad chairs, and oversized clay amphorae bring a sense of ancient stillness to modern, sun-drenched corners.
The narrative of the home unfolds through a series of architectural gestures designed to celebrate the rituals of daily life. In the heart of the villa, sunken lounges and arched kitchen alcoves invite connection, while the inclusion of artisanal rattan and hand-knitted textiles softens the contemporary edge. We integrated large-scale black-framed windows to act as living frames, capturing the play of light and shadow as it dances across textured plaster walls and carefully placed botanical accents.
Villa Margarita is a sanctuary of balanced contrasts, designed to evolve with its inhabitants. From the ambient, under-bed lighting in the private suites to the sculptural presence of freestanding stone tubs, every detail is an intentional choice in comfort and aesthetic purity. For Paz Studio, this project represents the pinnacle of modern living, a space where bold, contemporary silhouettes are harmonized by the timeless, organic beauty of the earth.
